A Canny Christmas Grotto is a magical Geordie-themed festive experience complete with a visit to Santa in a traditional grotto decked out in black and white – with elves to match.
Families can experience a warm welcome in an inclusive and friendly space with twinkly lights and a sprinkle of Geordie charm.
Tickets include a hot chocolate, sweet treat, festive crafts and photo opportunities in a giant sleigh, all jollied along by the friendly Geordie elves. Children under 12* will receive a gift from Santa too.

Step into the magic of Christmas with Festive Tales – a heartwarming experience where children can meet Father Christmas, share their Christmas wishes, and take home an early gift.
Each 30-minute group session includes a cosy festive story time and the chance to have your photograph taken with Father Christmas.
You can also have a go at the drop-in, family friendly festive art activities in the Pop-Up Ashington Group Hut.

You're invited to gather around and meet Santa in our Storytime with Santa sessions.
​Our studio will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland where starry-eyed children and their grown-ups will be welcomed in to share in a tale told by St. Nick himself and talk about what Christmas means to you.
​We have sessions for schools, families, and young people with complex needs. No naughty list here! Just lovely times to enjoy together.
​The ticket includes admission of one child plus up to two parents/guardians and a gift from Santa.

Ho Ho Ho! Step into the festive fun and meet Father Christmas at Ushaw this December, on select dates for a truly magical experience.
Ticket Information

• Children must be accompanied by an adult for the full session.
• A Day Pass or Membership is required for children (aged 5+) and accompanying adults
• If you would like multiple children to visit Father Christmas together please book each child a time slot consecutively and you can enter together as a family/group.
• Baby siblings (under 1s) do not require a ticket, but will not receive a gift from Father Christmas. If you would like your baby to receive a gift then you will need to purchase an additional ticket for them.
• Tickets are non-refundable, but time slots can be changed via your confirmation email, if availability of other time slots allow.

Create a magical memory for your child with an interactive storytelling experience this Christmas. Father Christmas and his elf friend, Happy Holly Berry are putting the ho ho ho into the festive season, getting ready for Christmas with their woodland friends; polishing the mistletoe, putting sparkle into the cobwebs, and frosting the moss. Gather close and listen to Father Christmas share a heart-warming tale filled with merry cheer and North Pole magic. 
As part of the magical experience, Father Christmas welcomes children to share in the storytelling fun and before he returns to his workshop in the North Pole, he presents each child with a small keepsake gift. There will also be time for families to capture a heartwarming photo together.

Step into a world of festive wonder this Christmas at South Causey Inn’s Christmas Lunch with Santa – a truly magical experience for the whole family. South Causey Inn will be transformed into a winter wonderland, adorned with twinkling lights, beautifully decorated trees, and the warm spirit of the season.

Join Santa for story time while the kids sip on cocoa and eat festive snacks.

Step inside our cosy Christmas Tipi at the heart of Newcastle’s Christmas Village for a magical storytelling experience with Father Christmas himself. Perfect for families, Santa Stories blends festive fun with heartwarming tales, interactive moments, and a chance to help Santa complete his official Nice List. With photo ops, cheerful elves, and a new story each visit, it’s more than a meet and greet, it’s a Christmas memory in the making.

Christmas is a time for cherished traditions, and Santa on the Roof is one of ours. Each year, our snowy rooftop transforms with a fresh, festive theme, ready to welcome you from Monday 3rd November to Wednesday 24th December 2025. Meet Santa, his merry elves, and create unforgettable memories.  
Tickets are £25 per person, but this year, why not make it extra special? Gather your loved ones and book an exclusive slot for up to six people for £120, a saving of £30 on booking 6 tickets individually. It’s the perfect way to enjoy this magical experience together.

Santa’s coming!!! Enjoy a fun-filled festive morning at Sheepfolds Stables where children will enjoy special story time with Father Christmas and his elf in our courtyard area. Children will also be given the chance to write their own letter to Santa too, ending with a Christmas party sing-a-long.
Tickets are £7.50 per child (age 1 and over) and £2 per accompanying adult.
