SS26

OCTOBER 2025
London Fashion Week (LFW) Spring/Summer 2026, held from September 18 to 22, 2025, was a vibrant season that blended British heritage with forward-thinking creativity and sustainability, under the new leadership of BFC chief executive Laura Weir.
The event was marked by a strong sense of British self-assurance and several major milestones.
Erdem
Erdem Moralıoğlu celebrated the brand's 20th anniversary with a collection that paid tribute to the enigmatic late 19th-century Swiss medium, Hélène Smith. The show, held at the British Museum, was a theatrical journey blending history, romance, and the otherworldly. The collection was structured around the three "romantic cycles" of Hélène Smith's purported past lives, moving from historical opulence to otherworldly fantasy.
Burberry
Burberry closed London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 with a vibrant, music festival-inspired collection, presented at Perks Field in Kensington Palace Gardens. Creative director Daniel Lee paid homage to British music culture, infusing the house's heritage codes with a rebellious, rock-and-roll spirit. The collection blended a sense of British aristocracy with the rugged, free-spirited energy of UK summer music festivals like Glastonbury. The soundtrack, featuring iconic British band Black Sabbath, set a grunge-inspired mood.
Simone Rocha
The Collection explored the uneasy emotions of adolescence and the transition to womanhood, drawing inspiration from artist Justine Kurland's book Girl Pictures and an essay by Maureen Freely. The collection, staged in the grand salons of Mansion House, was a playful yet provocative study of the "disgruntled debutante"
The collection offered a romantic exploration of florals, characterised by delicate prints, intricate embroidery, oversized rosette accents, and large, long-stemmed lilies incorporated into various garments.
Conner Ives
Titled "On Pop," was a vibrant homage to the energy of pop music and a powerful statement of solidarity with the transgender community.
The show was a "neon-dipped manifesto" celebrating pop culture, femininity, and identity. Designer Conner Ives explicitly dedicated the collection to his "Dolls," a reference to his viral "Protect the Dolls" T-shirt campaign which had raised significant funds for Trans Lifeline, a US-based charity. The show was a blend of high glamour and a call for visibility and acceptance in the face of political challenges
Mithridate
Mithridate's Spring/Summer 2026 (SS26) collection, titled "Edge of Seventeen," was the second collection by creative director Daniel Fletcher for the label. Presented during London Fashion Week in September 2025, the collection blended traditional British heritage with modern streetwear and 1980s flair.
Roksanda
Roksanda’s 20th anniversary show cemented her reputation for artful, interesting and imposing clothes, with a collection inspired by modernist sculptor Barbara Hepworth.
Presented within the refined grandeur of The Chancery Rosewood ballroom, this season stands not only as a celebration of Roksanda’s enduring creative vision but also as a tribute to women, artistry, and the power of design to move and transform.
Roksanda revealed a collection that is both bold and intimate, sculptural yet fluid - an ode to femininity in all its strength, complexity, and grace.
