Historic Sunderland society will be relaunched after 150 years
The New Sunderland Lit & Phil Society will be relaunched at its inaugural event this February 6th 2025 6.30pm at its original home, The Athenaeum.

Since closing its doors in 1873, this resurrected Literary & Philosophical Society will offer a space for residents of Sunderland to engage in vibrant and open discussions about the city's past, present and future.

North East Company Awesome Silent Discos had so much fun partying at Newcastle Cathedral in September that they are going to do it all over again in February 2025.
Family Silent Disco Party, 12:30-3pm
This family-friendly session welcomes all, including those under 18, for a fantastic afternoon of music and fun. Expect a lively mix of 90s and 2000s classics, modern hits, and all-time favourite kids’ party tunes.
