Grown Alchemist's Tomorrowland Collection Is the Kind of Collaboration That Actually Makes Sense
Beauty collaborations can often feel forced. A logo here, a limited-edition bottle there, and very little reason to buy beyond the novelty. Grown Alchemist's new Tomorrowland collection is refreshingly different. The Australian skincare brand has long been one of my quiet favourites. While others have come and gone, Grown Alchemist has remained a constant on my bathroom shelf—particularly its moisturiser, which is one of those products I buy on repeat. It's deeply nourishing, absorbs beautifully and has that signature botanical scent that instantly makes your skincare routine feel more luxurious.
That same sensory experience sits at the heart of the new Tomorrowland range. Inspired by Tomorrowland's iconic Elixir of Life fragrance, the collection includes a shampoo, conditioner, hand and body wash, body lotion and hydrating mist, transforming everyday essentials into something far more indulgent. Rather than relying on overpowering perfume, the scent is designed to evoke nature and escapism, while the formulas feature adaptogenic ingredients including reishi mushroom, moss and mineral-rich actives to help restore both skin and hair.
If a building becomes architecture, then it is art
It's the shampoo and conditioner that intrigue me most. Haircare has become one of beauty's fastest-growing categories, but genuinely elevated formulas remain surprisingly rare. Grown Alchemist has taken the same philosophy that made its skincare so appealing—effective ingredients, sophisticated textures and understated luxury—and applied it to products we use every single day. The shampoo gently cleanses without stripping the hair, while the conditioner is designed to leave it soft, hydrated and manageable, making the routine feel less like maintenance and more like a ritual.
Then there's the hand and body wash. If you've ever stayed in a luxury hotel and wished you could bottle that feeling of stepping into a beautifully scented bathroom, this comes remarkably close. It's the sort of product that elevates a guest bathroom but is equally deserving of everyday use.
What I like most is that the collaboration doesn't overshadow the brand. Tomorrowland provides the inspiration, but the products remain unmistakably Grown Alchemist: minimalist, beautifully formulated and quietly luxurious.
In a beauty market saturated with launches that promise everything, Grown Alchemist continues to do what it has always done best—create products that are a pleasure to use, day after day. And if this collection introduces more people to one of Australia's most enduring beauty exports, then that's no bad thing.
